Every now and then Belgian diamond companies ask us if it is necessary to collect information regarding other Belgian diamond companies to fulfill the AML (Anti Money Laundering) & KYC (Know Your Customer) legistlation.
We remind our members that the FOD Economie has declared that this is not necessary as Belgian diamond companies are registered with the ministry.
On BVGD's request, the HRD created a special website to check whether or not a diamond company is registered or not.
