Belgian Association of Traders and Exporters of Polished Diamond
Established in 1958, the B.V.G.D. stands as a distinguished Professional Association dedicated to the industry’s advancement.
The Belgian Polished Diamond Traders Association advocates for the interests of polished diamond traders, exporters, and importers in Belgium. Recognized as the sole professional body by the Belgian Government to represent this sector, we encompass all traders, irrespective of their membership status in various bourses.
While participation in the general assembly is required for members to influence agenda items and vote on the election of the Board of Directors, any Belgian diamond trader registered with the Ministry of Economy may apply for membership.
Our mission is to advocate across all levels of governance, aiming to streamline business operations and trade for polished diamond traders. We endeavor to remove barriers and tariffs hindering trade, while actively supporting initiatives beneficial to the Belgian Polished Trade.
